What does a 3D model cost?
Every scan gives you a photorealistic Gaussian splat (.ply). Add a textured 3D mesh (.glb), made with photogrammetry, on any quality. Higher quality uses more GPU time, so it costs more credits.

3D mesh (.glb): +0.5 credits on any quality, refunded automatically if it fails.
Failed scans are refunded automatically, so you only pay for models you get.
Settings behind each quality: Standard, 15,000 steps · ½ resolution; High, 30,000 steps · ½ resolution; Maximum, 30,000 steps · full resolution · exhaustive matching. With the Gaussian splatting API you can also choose your own settings and check their cost first with POST /v1/scans/estimate.
Questions about pricing
Is the first 3D model free?
Yes. New accounts get 1.5 free credits, enough for one Standard model with its 3D mesh.
Which pack should I pick?
If you might make more than 15 models, Project gives you 50 for no more than two Small packs, at a lower price per model.
Do credits expire?
Credits are valid for 12 months from the day you buy them, and there is no subscription. Credits bought before 17 October 2026 never expire.
What if a scan fails?
Failed scans are refunded automatically. If only the 3D mesh fails, you keep the Gaussian splat and get the mesh's 0.5 credits back.
Can I use my credits in Claude and ChatGPT?
